COURSE DESCRIPTION
No matter what forensic leadership role you are interested in stepping into (trainer, team lead or supervisor), rocking your next promotional interview is all about being properly prepared, but preparation starts long before the opportunity becomes available. In this webinar, attendees will learn what things they should be doing before the promotional opportunity becomes available and what they should do during and after their promotional interviews that will increase their chances of getting the promotion they desire.
Instructors will review topics such as shadowing, building rapport, policy review, appearance, demeanor, reputation, and attitude. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss commonly asked promotional interview board questions, and the best ways to answer them to leave a lasting impact on the interview panel members.
The Advancing in Forensics: A Workshop to Prepare You for Your Next Promotion webinar is intended for those who:
- Are interested in stepping into a leadership role in the future and want understand the long-term preparation needed for promotions so they start building the necessary skills and relationships early.
- Are currently preparing for an upcoming promotion want to effectively present themselves during interviews.
- Are already supervisors and want to stay informed about best practices in interview preparation so they can mentor their team members effectively.
- Are interested in learning how to best position themselves for new roles and promotions in their forensic career.
- Are interested in learning techniques to help them perform better during any interview, whether it be promotional or not.
