COURSE DESCRIPTION
This live virtual 2-day workshop is an exciting combination of brand new evidence purging content AND the content from several of our most popular evidence webinars including:
- Property & Evidence Releases
- Evidence Destruction 101
- Evidence Purge Party
Students will learn the following:
- How to set up procedures and systems that streamline the purging process
- How to properly release items of evidence and property
- How to determine when items are ready for purging and get the proper approvals to do so
- How to actually purge different items including firearms, narcotics, electronic devices, currency, biohazards, ammunition, records, digital media, vehicles, chemicals, collectibles and more!
This virtual workshop is intended for those who:
- Feel uncomfortable with or unsure about purging evidence properly
- Want to increase the number of items they purge annually
- Dispose of purged items in the trash (a big NO NO!) without considering the nature of the items
- Are responsible for purging evidence at their agency and want to feel confident in their training to complete that task
- Have never received training for purging evidence and are just winging it!
Please be open to share your experiences and evidence purging processes. This will allow for agencies in close proximity to be more informed on what disposal services are available in their area.
This is a live 2-day workshop, so please ensure you can attend both days of the workshop prior to registering. Replays of the live content will NOT be available should you need to miss any portion of the course.
